Overview

Situated in the heart of Surry Hills, Felix Two brings a fresh and inviting vibe to the local cafe scene. This cozy spot at 200 Goulburn Street is perfect for those seeking a laid-back yet refined dining experience, whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Its appeal lies in a thoughtful menu that balances quality and comfort, making it an ideal choice for Sydneysiders and visitors alike.

The café’s standout dishes showcase a dedication to hearty, satisfying fare crafted with care. Among them, the gluten-free steak sandwich draws particular praise for offering generous cuts of steak rather than the thin slices commonly found elsewhere. Alongside this, the chicken avocado salad shines with its fresh, wholesome ingredients, while the B.L.A.T sandwich wins accolades through its crisp bread, ripe tomatoes, creamy avocado, and unique ajonjolí sauce—a fusion that enhances classic flavors with a subtle twist.

Drinks at Felix Two complete the experience. The coffee program impresses with richly brewed options, including a standout soy chai latte that many have hailed as one of the best in the city. The café also serves an array of cocktails, bringing a relaxed bar atmosphere to this versatile venue. Whether you’re stopping in for an expertly crafted coffee or winding down with a cocktail, the offering remains consistently high quality.

The ambiance is another highlight. With its blend of inviting indoor seating and a pleasant outdoor space, Felix Two provides an ideal setting to watch the life of Surry Hills unfold. The decor is thoughtfully understated, creating a calm environment that invites guests to linger. Free Wi-Fi adds convenience, catering well to remote workers or casual readers. The attention to cleanliness, especially the spotless bathrooms, complements the warm service—from attentive owners to friendly staff eager to ensure comfort.

While some patrons have noted a slight delay in service during busier times, this does not detract from the overall experience. Felix Two’s charm lies in its unpretentious, genuine hospitality and well-executed dishes. It strikes a balance that appeals broadly: from early risers grabbing all-day breakfast to friends catching up over drinks in the evening.

Located near Crown and Oxford Streets, Felix Two fits perfectly into the vibrant Surry Hills dining landscape. Whether you are a local craving quality and consistency or a visitor exploring Sydney’s café culture, this is a destination worth discovering. It embodies the casual sophistication that defines much of Australian café life—warm, thoughtful, and welcoming.

The service is amazing, the gluten-free steak sandwich has to be the best I've had in sydney. You get a real decent steak unlike the thin slices usually served. The chicken avocado salad was a total hit and coffee is also up there with the best. A pleasant place to relax and enjoy your breakfast or lunch. Thank you!

I tried Felix Two for dinner, and it was my first visit. A friend had mentioned it, and I'm glad they did. The cozy and relaxing atmosphere makes this cafe a perfect spot to unwind. Though the staff seemed a bit slow, they were friendly and attentive once they got to us. The drinks, especially the cocktails, were delightful. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping by, even if just for a coffee. The vibe is great, and they offer an all-day breakfast too, which I might try next time.

Excellent. B.l.A.T Sandwich was great, the bread, fresh tomatoes, avocado, bacon, lettuce ajonjolí sauce. Súper green protein freshly made and coffee latte, with a tiny little cookie, was very well made. Service is excellent. Very nice couple which I believe are the owners. Very sweet couple and eager to serve their clients. Nice atmosphere. Bathrooms are very clean. It is nice to sit outside and see people pass by.

I stumbled upon Felix Two through a friend and decided to check it out for dinner. My first visit to this cozy cafe was a delightful experience. The all-day breakfast menu pairs perfectly with their selection of drinks, from coffee to cocktails. While the staff took a little longer than expected, they were friendly and made the atmosphere relaxing. If you’re nearby, I’d definitely recommend stopping by.

Great outdoor/indoor ambiance. Fantastic soy chai latte - one of the best I've had! Plenty of seating space, nice breeze on hot days, wifi. A superb and easy recommendation right next to Crown and Oxford.

I actually wasn't intending to come to have breakfast here, but the place I was going to go to wasn't open at their listed opening time, which led me to wander a little further and try Felix Two instead! First impressions, a very clean place, though today was a bit chilly, so having breakfast in the shade on the patio was a little on the breezy side of things. There was already customers inside enjoying themselves and within 15 minutes of me being there awaiting my order, a rush had come through, to the point where the chairs at my table I wasn't using were politely requested by others to be used at their joined tables. Service was with a smile, I ordered the big breakfast and earl grey tea. Tea came out after a few minutes, a very commonly used pot type, with typical milk container, though the cup and saucer was a lovely pattern and style. Getting a small shortbread cookie was lovely as not many places offer it with a tea in my experience. The breakfast was just on 15 minutes to be cooked and brought out, so not too bad a timing. The good on the breakfast was that the bacon was smoky, two rashers it looked like, well cooked. The mushrooms were delicious, the scrambled eggs very airy and light, though I found the chorizo quite salty by comparison to everything else. The tomatoes were fresh raw cherry tomatoes cut but dressed in some kind of dressing that were surprisingly fresh but also because they were a sharp contrast of coldness to the rest of the plate. The not so good on the breakfast I guess was that it did lack a bit of a 'green' element, be it spinach, or avocado, or something of that nature to balance out the heavier greasier components of the bacon and chorizo. The volume of the breakfast was probably verging on being a little on the lighter side for the price range by comparison to others I've had nearby in the same week. From an additional few elements to note, no salt or pepper on the table or brought out, no sugar either, despite getting a teaspoon with the tea (to... stir my milk in? to squeeze out the teabag that was inside the tea pot?....). The teapot was also a bit tannin stained, so it doesn't get a good scrub on a regular basis. From a nit-picking element, the table was also a bit wobbly, which if you're just having coffee, probably not an issue, but if you're cutting breakfast and eating, its just a tiny bit annoying. Would I come again, sure, I wouldn't mind Felix Two as an option. Good food, good service, good atmosphere.

Visited Felix Two for the first time with high hopes for a cozy evening. Heard about this charming cafe from friends and thought I'd give it a try. The atmosphere was indeed relaxing, perfect for unwinding over a drink. Their staff was friendly, though service was on the slower side, which wasn't a big deal since it added to the laid-back vibe. I initially found this spot on Google Maps and was pleasantly surprised by the all-day breakfast options they offer. If you're nearby, I'd recommend stopping by for dinner or just drinks.
